The Russian Centre for reconciliation has conducted humanitarian action in Jaba town (Quneitra Province) and Zbeida town (Aleppo Province).

Two humanitarian actions were held in Syria by Russian soldiers of Centre for reconciliation with assistance from military police battalion.

This time the humanitarian assistance was delivered to Jaba and Zbeida towns.

Jaba town (9000 citizens include 600 refugees) is situated 3 kilometers only from a territory controlled by terrorists. They periodically drops mortar shells on the town’s street.

Russian soldiers adopted heightened security measures in preparation for this humanitarian action. Entrances to the town were blocked by armored vehicle, military police fighters set up on the roof of buildings and there were unmanned aerial vehicles which monitored situation from air.

Because of proximity to the front line the situation with food and health care in Jaba is especially dire. Russian specialists of special medicine unit received medical treatment to 98 civilians include 48 children. Also, approximately 500 food parcels were distributed among citizens.

The Deputy Governor of Quneitra Mohamed Hmefiz and the Head of municipal area Delal Al-Hor delivered a thankful speeches at the event.

During humanitarian action in Zbeiada town, 680 loaves of bread and 300 food parcels were delivered to citizens. Total weight of humanitarian assistance was 1716 kg. 188 civilians include 128 children received medical attention from Russian specialists.
