March, 9, the so called Khalid Ibn Walid Army (Jeish Khalid Ibn Walid), the terroristic group associated with ISIS, tried to make further advance near Tasil and Adawan villages in the west of the Deraa province in southern Syria.

Through a week ago ISIS already had significant achievements in this area. Starting from the so called Haud Yarmouk triangle between the Israeli and the Jordan borders, the ISIS* brigade had captured approximately 20 villages and within 3 days made a good advance in the direction of the Deraa city. They used the chance while main forces of the local armed opposition fractions (most of them belong to the South Front coalition within so called Free Syrian Army) were involved with support of the new offensive in the Deraa city where fighters from the new Jighadist Tahrir Al-Sham coalition recently had attacked the positions of the Syrian Government Army in the Al-Manshiya district.

A part of the FSA fighters took their part in Jebghat An-Nusra / Tahrir Al — Sham activities so the front against ISIS in the west had been weakened. After reaching the village of Tasil Jeish Khalid Ibn Walid coalition got a time for reinforcement and crushed several counter offensive attempts from the side the FSA killing and beheading dozens of militants. Then the ISIS terrorists tried to make a new advance but this time were stopped by the Russian air-jets.

Obviously Russians preferred to get involved against ISIS on the side if the Syrian opposition how it had already occurred previously in the Eastern Qalamoun region in the province of Damascus. And this despite the fact that this time the local FSA groups support counter government activities of Jighadists.
