«MI-6 revenge»: how the British and Saudi media «killed off» Russian ambassador in Yemen
Bloggers called message published by Western and Arab media about Russian ambassador’s death in Yemen a revenge of British intelligence MI-6. As reported by “Russian Spring” the West was schocked and terrified by Moscow media reaction to message about Elizabeth II death.
Several days ago Russian media published a message claiming Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II dead referring to official statement on Royal Family’s website (which has been promptly deleted) and now the biggest British and US outlets refer to Saudi news agency and tell the world about Russian ambassador being killed off in Yemen’s capital Sana.
The first to publish that message was Saudi Bark News agency using its Twitter account. The message said that there was a terrorist assault on Russian embassy in war-torn country.
Armed militant presumably stormed into Russian embassy’s building and opened fire which resulted in Russia’s ambassador’s death.
There were no further details in the message though it spread in the main British and other Western outlets. According to some other news agencies the killed was not the ambassador but an embassy officer.
Russia’s ambassador in Yemen is Vladimir Dedushkin. Foreign Ministry of Russian Federation and Russia’s embassy in Yemen denied the «information» about the assault.
First Russian FM spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told that the message was being verified at that moment, she neither confirmed nor denied that message.
Then embassy’s secretary and comandant told that the information was false.
«Everything is all right. Nothing happened», — told embassy’s representative. He underlined that there had been neither attacks nor provocations.
According to netizens the whole story could be some kind of revenge to those mythical «Russian hackers» for virtually murdering Queen Elizabeth II.
